Work Experience.
What I have learned and experienced during my working life have been the result of two career paths – the first in education, and the second in Real Estate.
Some interests:
– Enjoy a relaxing discussion with people about the world and all it brings!
– Interest in the community and it’s development.
I like:
– Wood and bone carving.
– Painting in water colours.
– Drawing and art work.
– Creating things.
– Working with wood.
– To “fix” things.
– The enjoyment, relaxation and challenge of golf.
– The outdoors and love being out on the water in the kayak on a sunny day!
– To do short runs and exercise because it is supposed to be good for me!
– Enjoy all kinds of sport and will probably try bowls at some stage in my life!
I have been associated with our children’s schools, sports clubs, the Edgewater College Soccer Club,and the Board of Trustees for Pakuranga Intermediate School.
I am a “homely” man, who has pride in one’s own home, and likes to try and keep it that way!
And a family man – with three “grown up” children.
Enjoyments in life have been…
– Teaching in Murupara where no one else would go!
– Sole Charge Principal in Tahora.
– Unpaid Sports Radio announcer for 1XX Whakatane for 5 years!
– Coaching Tai Mitchell rugby teams in the Bay of Plenty.
– Helping people sell homes for 15 years.
– Seeing the pleasure on people’s faces when they have successfully bought their first home!
– Tandam Sky Dive from 12000 ft and “flying” through a cloud!
